after all, how good could they be for $118. I recently upgraded the TV and AV receiver in my main family room and the old units were relegated to the basement family room, so I needed an HT speaker system to go with them. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by just how good these sounded. Since the room is only occasionally used I didn't want to spend a bunch of money. I was actually a bit skeptical when I stumbled across these. Amazing, actually, for the size and cost. They produce a natural and room filling sound driven by my old Onkyo TX-NR801 receiver (100w/ch).Based on my experience my son has ordered a set for his bedrooom system.
These are great speakers, of course the price dropped right after I picked them up, but were still a value at the price.
even music sounds great. bought these 6 months ago for a onkyo low end surround sound system and they kick butt. unreal sound for just over 100 bucks. my wife, who usually doesn't care about things like this, even commented how good the sound was while watching a movie - just like the theater. these are a great deal.
Halo3 and COD will never be the same. I bought this set of speakers for my son's TV/Gaming room. We couldn't beat the price with the same quality anywhere. They were easy to install because they are mountable. The sound is incredible. The powered sub is perfect for that size room. Do yourself a favor and upgrade the speaker wires.
Super fast delivery and easy to set up. I was blown away at how good these speakers are for the price. If you're in need of a set of speakers and are on a budget, these are the ones for you.
